Located in the McFadden Public Market of Downtown Santa Ana, Tacompadre brings authentic Mexico City-inspired flavors and recipes to Orange County.
Brothers Jermaine and Alejandro Sanchez founded Tacompadre after spending much of their childhood in Mexico City. They saw firsthand how tasty and distinct the cuisine in Mexico City is compared to its American counterpart. They also witnessed the fast-paced world of business that comes with living in one of the largest cities in the world.
The two brothers later relocated to Orange County carrying that entrepreneurial spirit, and dreamed of bringing a unique dining experience to Santa Ana patrons, one that infuses the flavors of Mexico City with traditional Cal-Mex offerings.
With a focus on fresh ingredients and customer service, Tacompadre is all about attention to detail. You won't find any corners cut here. Expect fresh batches of salsa made in-house daily, guacamole made from fresh-cut avocados, and high-quality meats sourced and marinated in recipes that have been tried and tested extensively. There's no other way to describe tacos from Tacompadre other than to say they are "tacos chingones"!
